The JET Program is what you make it. For me, what started as a way to leave home, become a “professional,” and live out my weeaboo dreams became an era I call “my second puberty.”

“I Wish it Were Easy to Say, ‘I’m Beautiful.’” is the culmination of my trials and errors in self image and the pursuit of self-efficacy.

The exhibition was 4 days, during which I shared the sketchbooks and new illustrations I had filled during the first 5 years of my time in Japan.
