I made a lot of scrappy autobiographical comics while I was living in Japan on the JET Programme. The following is a selection of those comics, the majority of which don’t exist anymore. I know. Absolutely sacrilege as an artist. But it felt like my only choice as an expat with limited luggage and budget. (I do slightly regret it!)
